Seven of Cups: Tarot card talk for a hazy Tuesday blurring into Wednesday

Damn, it’s almost time to water my plants again already?!? As this Tuesday sheds its skin and slithers into yet another Wednesday, my hazy brain keeps reflecting a Tarot card full that has been coming up in my readings a lot lately: the Seven of Cups.

Have you ever noticed that across the different suits of Tarot cards, the cards that bear the same numbers share some similarities? That is because they correspond with different stages on your life journey.

When you see a the number seven in the Tarot, it often represents a challenge that must be overcome in order to accomplish a goal. You are well on your way, but you still have work to do. You are getting a swift kick in the butt not to rest on your progress and keep evolving to the next level of wisdom in life.

When you see cups in a reading, these deal with emotional or emotionally driven matters. The Seven of Cups can indicate the need to make a decision out of many potential choices, which can be frustrating, exciting, and anxiety-inducing all at once.

Many, if not all of us, are currently asking the question: where do we go from here?

If you are not sure where to go from here, carefully examine all your available options. Consider whether you are drawn to something for emotional or logical reasons, and be careful of things that seem too good to be true. What opportunities will realistically serve you in the long run to pursue? What is a shiny mirage, and what is real?

I think we are all asking ourselves what is real anymore, as structures in our lives we assumed were constants are now glitching. Many of us aren’t sure where to turn or what to believe. Please trust in your ability to make decisions that will support your well being. Open your eyes (all three of them) to see the best path ahead.
