Hello!!! Happy springtime!
I hope you’ve had somewhat of a chance to hear birds singing and watch flowers blooming! Out here in San Francisco, flowers are popping up everywhere, even my backyard! Hopefully you don’t have to go too far to see at least one flower nearby! And if you don’t have any flowers in your life right now, maybe get an airplant. When super happy, they produce colorful flowers that last a long time, and they are super easy to care for. Check out my Stricta Moonglow, and more flower appreciation after the jump:

Just a quick thought on flowers: flowers are the ultimate concentration of a plant’s energy into something incredibly beautiful! I believe that using our energy to create beauty in our lives is the human version of flowering. We have already talked about how plants have personalities that you can understand just by having a good look at them; flowers are an even more enthusiastic expression of life. Next time you have the pleasure of looking upon a flower, see if you can see for a moment the emotion or personality trait it is expressing. You might even find some flowers have a sense of humor, and they might even teach you a thing or two!
If you would like to take a gander at some lovely spring flowers from around my neighborhood, you’re in luck! Check out these beauties!
